Cheap prices compared to other restaurants in Copenhagen, and food is super tasty. Only reason for 4 stars on the food, is because the meat in the main meal had a Smokey taste, which I guess was on purpose, but just wasn’t too my liking. Luckily the sauce and everything else was so good that it still tasted fine.

Introduction table inside the restaurant. I recommend a reservation. The menu is not long, but it is not easy to choose. Some combinations are "special". As a starter was Tom Kha Soup, a mushroom soup slightly sour in taste, but with cashews. As a main dish Ribeye with fries and sauce. The meat was cooked well to rare but the sauce and fries were extremely salty so you ended up with a little salt mine in your mouth :-(

It is a very popular place, so it is always crowded, and therefore noisy, and it is necessary to reserve a table in advance. The tables are very close together, there is not much space, which in my opinion does not create a cozy atmosphere at all. Food presentation is good. The menu is not varieties. I tasted the fish and was not impressed. The greens topping was extremely salty. The dish is overpriced in my opinion. But the sauvignon blanc was impeccable. Also, the dessert as a brownie and a scoop of ice cream with roasted hazelnuts was delicious. Service is polite but not very fast. Disadvantages: there is not enough space for outerwear, people hang their clothes on other people's clothes. The furniture fund obviously needs renovation. The general impression is that the establishment accommodates one and a half times more visitors than would be appropriate.

Dynamite, I sat at the bar and watched the chefs work. They handled it like professionals. Food and service was great.

The presentation of every dish is exquisite. Seasonal cocktail (basis on Mulled Wine) is a perfect festive drink to accompany main course. My partner ordered a small dish of Gyoza for appetizer. However, it was not to my liking - the broth is too salty - it felt like non-diluted soy sauce mixed with Kombu and Dashi. Two fried dumplings were sitting in the broth, hence the bottom of them were soggy. It was not clear if the broth should be taken as dipping sauce or a soup broth - pov too salty for soup broth :) Confit de Canard was served with Scandinavian twist. The sourness of gooseberries balances with the buttery gravy. To highlight, I was impressed by the kale in this dish - it was cooked to perfection maintaining its vibrancy and freshness. For dessert, apple pie was a sweet delight to end this lovely dinner. The small tart was nicely covered with freshly caramelized apples, whipped cream cheese and hazelnut crunch - giving out a good hit of texture and flavor (pov suggestion: spoon may not the best cutlery for this pie ;)

Dining with kids can be a bit tricky but these guys nailed it. From the moment we sat down to paying the bill, last night was one of the best restaurant experiences we as a family have had. Service was perfect. The food was delicious, presented beautifully and came quickly (which is important with kids). We had a few requests and all were handled with a smile. We were all really impressed with the quality cost ratio. Incredible value for money. My son at some point exclaimed that this is now his favourite restaurant - and after last nights experience I completely understand! We’ll be back! Well done team!

This is a cozy place, however the menus we’ve ordered could really use some work. My boyfriend had a steak that was far too salty and I had a bony fish that was kind of lacking taste - plus it was served with some semi-inedible garnish. Another point of disappointment was lack of bread - it had to be ordered additionally (and it wasn’t suggested by the server either). The tartar starter was however good, so they get some stars for that. For this price point you could do so much better. In general, restaurants in Copenhagen set the bar high, hence the criticisms. I have to add that I’ve been to two other Madklubben restaurants and had a great experience each time, so I will probably be giving this chain another chance at some point.

The 3 course menu has great value. Location is nice and atmosphere on a Friday night is great with music. Service was also enjoyable. We had a really nice evening.
