Judging the food here as an Italian is difficult because the tastes and preparation of some foods are very different and you risk ending up personal. Food preparation is complex (a positive aspect) and the study of flavors is not trivial. The food is well plated and well presented. Portions not very generous but I think it is not the target of this restaurant to fill the plates. Informal and particular environment. The place has dim lights with high tiles on the walls. I think it's a great place with great food. As an Italian I recommend trying Danish flavours, but you shouldn't be disappointed by some flavours. I don't judge prices because as an Italian they are slaps, but for a Danish salary they might not be. PROS&CONS: ✅ Food quality ✅ Complexity of the preparations ↔️ None ❎ None

Particular culinary experience, the cuisine is not traditional and therefore you must be ready to face new combinations which in my opinion are exceptional! I definitely recommend trying the duck! The staff is very helpful and the atmosphere is really intimate and welcoming. If we return to Copenhagen we will definitely see each other again!

The only misses: the steak, while delicious, didn’t arrive hot; the service fell off as they got really busy. Everything else was amazing — menu and atmosphere, taste and imagination.

We had the pleasure of dining there in 2021, and the food was exceptionally well prepared, with only a couple of minor issues to note. Firstly, the tatar could benefit from a touch more salt and would be a perfect match with a hint of acidity. Secondly, in the steak, there was a slight taste of burnt fat/oil. On the bright side, the waitress who served us was incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed throughout our experience. However, if you're dining as a party of two, be aware that the tables are quite small, and there isn't much extra space around. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit (especially since they have changed their menu 😊).

In Denmark, "smørrebrød" is another traditional dish that Danes eat, and you should also try it. It is an open sandwich with different variations and is served on rye bread. At the top, you can find anything, and usually, it is fish, but meat ones are popular as well. Over the past decade, they have become world famous. Again, this is a dish you should try when in Denmark. You can find them on the menu everywhere, but we recommend Fleisch, which focuses on smørrebrød. They have a great selection, and on the other hand, it is not too big, meaning they focus on quality, which we could taste in each bite. Apart from smørrebrød, they have excellent beer as well. You can choose to sit inside or on the outside if the weather allows, and paying by card is no issue.

Great value for money. Fleisch is always a safe bet. The food is plenty and of high quality. The pouring of wine is generous and the service knowledgeable and down to earth. I wish to highlight the waiter Frederik who always gives us the best service. The restaurant is highly recommended and this review is based on numerous visits during the last two years.

Fantastic red wine pairing for the main course. This was a great 5 course set-menu option. Everything was moist, seasoned aptly, and very palatable even for the foreign palate. Nice buttery aged jamon to start, loved the one they selected for us. The starter was pleasant, a great flavour combination- slightly sweet, almost sticky, and balanced with fresh crispiness from the lettuce leaf. The main steak dish had a nice bit of red throughout, a shame we didn't get to pick the cooking time, alas. Not a gripe worthy of complaining about for the pricepoint. The creme brulee was not as structurally sound, it felt a bit like trying to scoop melting whipped cream, than custard, but the flavours more than made up for it. The interiors don't lend to the great quality of the dishes, but it does make for a very casual and relaxed dine.

Nice place to enjoy a traditional Danish Smørebrøds lunch in a more modern setting. I love the more raw atmosphere which matches the area perfectly. The only minus I have for this place is the lack if information about the table time we had. I did an reservation period to coming to the restaurant and no information about how long I had the table, when I arrived and doing lunch and order I was not informed about the time limit of the table. So when we finish eating - we ordered a one more drink each and after 5 mins from receiving the drink the lady informed us we had to pay and leave the table as they need to use it. So in the end we had to leave without finishing the drink (the worst part about it, it was not like anyone was waiting in line for the table yet). Anyway, a pretty to have that experience when the food actually was really nice.
