The tasting menu was amazing, I won't go into every dish as they were all great. Our server was amazing, really friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the food. The only slightly disappointing dish was the desert, It felt a bit lazy compared to all the other dishes, my least favourite part of it was the hazelnuts, they were weirdly squidgy and got caught in my teeth. I'm being a bit overly critical just because our bill was over 3000kr and for the price you do expect a bit more.

Beautiful place Some dishes (especially meat dishes and bread) were really good, tender and tasty, others were a bit bland like the smoked trout. I’m not sure I will be able to understand the Jerusalem artichoke dessert on a “French toast” that had little of a French toast (it did not seem to have been dipped in seasoned eggs at all and wasn’t sweet) - overall i would not be able to consider it a dessert; but I appreciate the attempt in looking outside of the box. I don’t know if we were just unlucky that night, but the service was quite bad for different reasons. - the commis (assistant of the waiter) had no charisma, no attention to details (see, for example, the placement of cutlery on the table in the picture) and always had us pass the plates to them at the end of the table when cleaning up. Zero effort from their side. - it seemed like the main waiter did not really know what they were doing when serving wine. For the wine paring, especially for white, the amount of wine was really low, something like 7-8cl, but when serving red wine the glass was filled with at least 15cl. When paying over 500,- for 4 glasses of wine, please don’t give me the feeling of being tight-fisted for a glass of wine. - another waiter who came help serving/cleaning the last two courses was clearly tipsy/drunk. First, when serving the course, they shouted “WHO’S HAVING THE TASTING MENU?” in a completely calm environment, then he became even more uncouth as the evening progressed. - lastly, after serving the dessert, the waiters disappeared. They did not even come to clean up the table, until the main waiter passed by (dressed to go home in sweatpants) and we stopped him to ask for coffees. In my experience, the service shouldn’t stop at least until the coffee cups are cleared from the table. Frankly, from a Michelin guide restaurant and for the price paid, certain fine-dining standards must be met at least in service and mise en place. Drunk service is a no-go.

A truly formidable taste experience. The dishes were one better than the other and the service superb. Worth every crown spent, I highly recommend it.

Looking for a cozy restaurant serving trendy food influenced by regional Danish cuisine? This is the perfect place for you. Food is cooked to perfection and served by waiters that can take a joke and joke back, in other words, a laid-back eatery with excellent food, by far the best we have had for some time. It's clear langoustines are not living in the waters around Bornholm and most of the cheeses offered on the cheese plate come from other regions of Denmark. There is a very good choice of affordable and more exclusive wines. Overall, not cheap but well worth it. Highly recommended.

great service and food was not amazing but quite good, i would say wine pairing was quite worth it for portions

Gourmet food experience with minor potential on staff's attitude. The food we had was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. My favorites were the "Sol over Gudhjem" and the "Steamed cod, asparagus velouté, cockles & roe". We had the non-alcoholic beverage pairing. This was slightly disappointing as the juices/sodas weren't a creative as I would have expected. The staff was friendly and efficient. However I would have loved to get some more "attention" in terms of taking some time to explain the courses. This would have provided a warmer atmosphere and can be expected in the price range they are asking.

That was an amazing experience. We had the fish menu with wine pairing and the taster menu with non-alcoholic pairing. The dishes and pairing were well thought out and presented and all worked together as complete meal. The dessert was the best I have ever had! Service was superb with friendly and knowledgable fine dining servers! I will recommend Koefoed for anyone who loves food and appreciates an explosion of tastes and textures.

If you ever happen in Copenhagen do not miss this gem. Every flavor perfectly balanced, friendly service and interior design studied for comfort. Their homemade bread and the butter are spectacular and the desserts to die for.
