Very cosy restaurant with incredible views of town. The menu had a great selection of drinks and smørebrød. Please ensure to get to the parliament at least 10 minutes before your booking at there is a queue and security for the lift.

Meyer. A Danish chef with a very good reputation. This one of his restaurants serves the deluxe version of Danish smørrebrød, "open face sandwiches" on rye-bread. Everything from the bread to the filling, cold, and warm cuts was made from the best local produce - and love, I'm sure We had the full Danish Christmas lunch. All the traditional dishes and servings. But with a twist. I don't dare to say, but better than my mum made it. The service! I think we got lucky. She was the most heartwarming professional witty accommodating person enjoying her profession. Very nice indeed. And the location! In the Christiansborg Castle Tower with a view over Copenhagen and the Royal staples. It was truly a wonderful Christmas lunch. I must add that I have neither a professional nor family relationship with the owner or our waitress. 🙂 We just went for lunch.

A great dining experience! Delicious course of meals with good wine pairings. The interior is a fascinating mix of proud and strong historical stonework, and muted, tasteful lighting with modern, minimalistic furniture.

Stunning setting and beautiful food. We had a fantastic lunch here. Service was super friendly, Smørrebrød was excellent. Homemade schnapps with horseradish was amazing. Will definately return.

The location is very unique. The service and food did not impress us though. We chose a the recommended chef menu, with a choice of main and appetizers. The appetizer of fish was quite bland, equally the beef Tatar under a leaf ended up with little seasoning. The beef for main course was good. The service was friendly, but not to par with the price, as he seemed to lack some experience (maybe stundent job?). Overall, it is quite an impressive atmosphere and worth to pay a visit, not for the culinary aspect of it though.

Having spent the day at Christiansborg we were hungry and in search of a cafe for a late afternoon bite to eat. We found our way to Tårnet, but were told by security guards that they were fully booked. After further discussion they did let us through security and up to the restaurant. (They had airport style security as I later found out this is part of the area of the Danish parliment.) We were greeted at the restaurant which indeed was very busy, and with every seat taken. But they did make us an interesting offer - we could have some leisure seating on cushions on steps to the large windows. There were some small, permanently mounted tables there so we ordered some drinks and savoury treats. Menu and opening times are on-line. Making a reservation is strongly recommended.

A wonderful experience, dining in such a historical ambiance. The food and wine are excellent. And the service is a very pleasant surprise. Extremely kind and just a touch informal so you feel very welcome and at home. I would recommend this restaurant without any hesitation to anyone that wants their visit to København to be unforgettable.

Make sure you make reservations!! It's a small setting (not crowed) but super cute with lots of history! Food was delicious!! After eating, you can go up one more floor to the highest point of the tower for the views!
