Looking for a nice location for a Valentine's day dinner and we couldn't have done any better! The restaurant itself is cosy and feels like home. The place was full, which shouldn't have been a surprise, yet everything about our experience explains why people might want to be here. We enjoyed a fantastic 3-course meal with a fine rosé. The white fish and beef medallion dishes were outstanding! The beef was cooked to perfection, tender and flavourful. The service was impeccable, yet cordial. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. Conversations with the owner/manager were delightful throughout the evening. The only downside was having to leave... eventually. We'll be back!

If you're looking for an unforgettable 3 course meal in Copenhagen, this will not disappoint. I had the beef tartare, seasonal white fish (cod) with white sauce, bacon, dill, and potatoes, and the traditional cheese and jam pudding. Each with its own glass of wine. I'm not a white wine drinker usually, because in my opinion they lack complexity. The white wine I had here was extremely floral, with a finish of plum and blueberries. Great experience and best meal I had in Copenhagen, with perfect ambiance outdoors along the water front

Smørrebrød 🍞🐟 A traditional Danish 'open-faced' sandwich, with beautiful dark sourdough rye bread. This was our very first meal in Copenhagen, and it happened to be in beautiful Nyhavn at the Hyttefadet restaurant. ⛵ We had to get something authentically Danish - and we were recommended Smørrebrød. It was heavenly. We chose the 'Sailor's Favourite' option - 3 different types of fishes served as toppings on the Smørrebrød; marinated herring, fried fillet of flounder, smoked salmon 🚣🏻. The dark rye bread, toasted with butter, was delicious. Michelle opted for the vegetarian option - Asparagus with Smoked Cheese & Herbs 🌿 We truly loved the Danish hospitality in this restaurant. The staff took their time to explain to us what Smørrebrød was. We loved our experience here. Nyhavn and the Danish food served here - truly heavenly.

We had an exceptional experience in Hyttefadet. Very friendly staff, great food in a small but more than cosy environment, right in the middle of Nyhavn. Recommend to make reservations upfront to get a table!

The roasted pork was very salty for our liking. We ordered a 3 course meal and the food was just okay. Kind of overpriced but the service was great.

Very nice restaurant in the well-known part of Copenhagen - Nyhavn. We sat down without reservation. Service pleasant, place beautiful with view of the smaller harbor. I recommend their club sandwich and black currant juice

Great service and comfy atmosphere. Food was great. I had the traditional Danish breakfast, it was simple but tasty! Would recommend

Vegetarian burger and the fried fish are good. Cozy seats and simple ambience. Drinks are 60-70% filled with ice cubes, which I find kind of obscene.
