One of the best meals I've ever had! The food was incredible-- we had chef's choice Danish open sandwiches, a plaice sandwich, a roast beef sandwich, and Danish meatballs. All amazing! The host was also the best host we've ever enjoyed-- he helped us with menu choices, engaged the kids in the nicest way (and the kids ended up really loving their food!), shared with us the very interesting history of the restaurant, was so warm and kind, and also so helpful and gracious about our total lack of Danish language skills. Great memories made! If we're ever back in Copenhagen it'll be the first place we visit!

Our first lunch in Copenhagen, and it remained the only and inimitable: everything exquisite, starting from the location (very intimate), passing through the excellent food, up to the kindness, helpfulness and friendliness of the waiter, probably the best I've ever met! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Pick the other side :) We went to this place for lunch and it was absolutely outstanding!! We choose the mixed lunch sandwiches and loved every bite! There’s clearly love and passion that goes into these dishes! On top, the service was so so nice! Many people choose the other side but you get an amazing view and (in my opinion) 5* food!!!
