Rude. The only rude person we encountered in Denmark. Stay away. We phoned in advance to ask if they could save 2 bike boxes for packing our bikes to fly. When we turned up, the man was rude, dismissive, made a huge fuss. Eventually he gave us 2 boxes of the right size and then charged us 50DKK each. When we challenged this he was even ruder. We have travelled all over the world with our bikes and we have only been asked to pay for them twice - here and in Istanbul. More than the money it's the rudeness and horridness of the encounter that bothers. Stay away. (Aug 2017).

Bad service, advice mainly to sell stuff, expensive. Went to Viking cykler simply for convenience as it is close to work and the LBSs around where I live have typical 10-6 working hours, so pretty much impossible to deal with. I needed a replacement for the rear cassette, for which special tools are required. The keeper tried really hard to sell me first a full service and then a new chain as well, even after I told him that the one that is on was only two weeks old. This went on for at least two minutes, but I remained firm. When I picked up the bike, he told me a wild story about my front derailleur, rust, issues and so on - it is as old as the bike, 6 years, but worked perfectly fine (Deore). Now I know, why. They had tried to adjust it and tightened the wire so much, that the chain won't go on the smallest chain ring. They also messed up the rear derailleur, which as of now does not work properly. Finally, for the price paid, the tool was within reach. I know exactly what to do the next time, when something needs to be fixed and requires a special tool. And it does not involve Viking cykler.

Good service and good price compared to others. Possibility of quick bike patching for 50.- extra, which is great for us who depend on our bike every day. I will be back :)

As always, a really good experience when I had to have my son's bike serviced, fast and fair in price. I have also bought new bikes there and sold used ones back to him. Always had a good experience there.
