Pretty good food, seems quite authentic, while still using proper quality ingredients. Eggs Benedict were pretty cold, but tasted good. Eggs and bacon were nice, and pancakes were good. Cheesecake was very good and fluffy, and the crust tasty. The fresh orange juice was quite nice and refreshing. Staff and owners super smiling and friendly, owners having roots in Chicago area from what we overheard. Cozy location with views of Kultorvet, restaurant is decorated very nicely. Food, drinks and a shared dessert came to around 250 per person, so pricing is fair.

Good, casual American diner with an emphasis on burgers. Brunch is served here as well and some other signature plates Ate there on a Sunday with no pre-booking and it was no problem. Only room for improvement is cleanliness of the place and especially the toilets. Other than that food was perfect and value for money.

Denmark 🇩🇰 Copenhagen - restaurants We loved the Midwestern Diner. It's a very cute diner that vibes more southern or rural than Midwestern but has a fun mix of Midwestern and Mideastern plates from home. We had the chicken & waffles as an appetizer which tasted like a celebration of Maxine's chicken & waffles - a famous Indianapolis plate that has recently crept through the rest of the midwest from the Indiana/Kentucky region. The diner offered a delicious take on this plate. Our main course was a couple of their delicious cheeseburgers and sweet potato fries (The bacon jam burger and the truffle burger). We enjoyed the great cuts of beef and perfectly crisp medium cut sweet potato fries. For dessert, the pumpkin pie was great! I'm biased because I love pumpkin everything this time of year. However, the cheesecake tasted a bit foreign to me but perhaps it's more to do with Copenhagen's take on cheesecake. It was too soft to be what we serve in the US as cheesecake which is firm and American cream cheese based. Still overall we'd try more desserts from here. Staff was great and had very convincing flat Midwestern accents - with the beloved brand of welcoming & friendly that you only get from the Midwest. Final take- As a true Midwestern from Chicagoland I loved the diner and I'll be back next time I'm in Copenhagen for a taste of home.

Chicken burger was to die for! Easily one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Rather than a big chicken patty, it’s juicy yet crispy chicken strips. Also the sweet potato fries were delicious.

Visiting from Seattle, WA for about a week. Was looking for a good brunch place and found the Midwestern Diner. We ordered an oat milk latte, an affogato(espresso over ice cream), chicken and waffles and the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with a side of hash browns. Everything was absolutely delicious. Very filling and I will admit, tasted better than some breakfast places I’ve been to in the states. If you’re looking for a great American style breakfast I highly recommend coming here. We did not need a reservation for our visit.

I loved everything about this little restaurant. Firstly I want to thank the hosts and servers for a very good vibe and positivity. The food was amazingly good and fact: they really have the best milkshake ever, I really recommend trying the salted caramel one.

Loved the brunch options at this restaurant. The waitresses were very accommodating and friendly. The tables are decided into 3 floors, but in very small spaces, given a very cozy atmosphere.

Nice place to have breakfast or lunch. it's open at 10:00, earlier the most of other restaurants. It's located on the pedestrian square, so it's nice to seat outside. I've ordered the set included eggs, sausages, oatmeal and pancakes, the dishes were tasty. The service was fast and smiling.
