I have had my mother at Svendebjerghave after a hospital admission. I can only say that I am positive about the care and concern they have shown my mother. She has d.d. been there for over a month and will continue in a nursing home. Her condition is being taken care of and follow-up interviews have been held on an ongoing basis and as a relative I think that the orientation regarding care and further treatment is with UG. Furthermore, there have only been staff around my mother who have wanted her well. She has continuously been bathed, clean clothes put on, cared for in personal care and I have only met friendly, engaging and passionate staff. I would really like to recommend the place🖕🖕

Not a place I would recommend. Brochure/copied papers from 2020 handed to us with very nice words about what they can do etc. When our relatives had been there for 5 days, we asked for a contact person and what the process should be. Furthermore, we ask that a test be carried out for cystitis as our relative is constantly urinating and is very confused. Have previously spoken to my own doctor about them doing that down there. When we call on the day, we are first told that we must have an inquiry from the doctor..... ah, but that is what we asked for, as we could otherwise have taken our relatives to our own doctor on Friday. The next day we learn that the evening shift didn't have time for it. Subsequently, we are told that they have tried several times..... But that a sample had not yet been taken... And they are also only people like the rest of us..... After several calls, they then carry out a test by putting a bag in the toilet and taking a test from there... we come later and there is still a bag hanging in the toilet... Our relatives then take the bag and pull it up so there is ... all over the toilet floor... Why isn't the bag removed after the test is taken.. We thought great, we will be relieved during the period when our relatives are placed down there until a nursing home..... but thank you, it has turned out to be just the opposite...... And now our relatives are being sent home even if you can't take care of yourself... What costs the most to have pgl. at Svendbjerghave or have 8-10 people running at home everyday.. Also boring to walk past the staff room and hear that they are very stressed about certain things. Is there a management down there who knows what is going on and how the staff are really feeling? Now must we see.... But unfortunately we are relatives who know a little about what is going on and we are also there as much as we can to see how it goes. The staff informs that information about the CPR no. can be left in the living room, as it is the pgl.'s "home" that you are now in. But when the staff come, they speak badly enough for pgl... if you enter someone else's home, it is probably very normal to talk to people.... A cold and cynical place....

An unworthy place will not recommend it to anyone ! my sister was there for the last 14 days of her life! and it was not fun to experience a staff that did not know what good care was! think it was new substitutes every day and it was as if no one talked to each other about who was there at the shift change! and medicine they had no control over! It's not a place I would recommend using
