Bought a nice new mountain bike that was ordered to be legal. After collection, we can ascertain that there are no legally required reflectors and no bell - and a key certificate has not been issued. Thinking back to last purchase there and realizing it was pretty much the same. But ok, nice service - not that in the situation it makes much difference.

My wife thought we should treat ourselves to something we could do together, so we chose to buy two new electric bikes to be able to go on long trips together in the late summer/autumn. The choice fell on the Cube because of the new Bosch motor and large battery. Saturday 29/8 Buying two Cube E-bikes - a Cube Stereo Hybrid 120 and a Cube Kathmandu Hybrid EX - Total price approx. NOK 60,000 We bought "Livservice", which is a prepaid service that ensures that you can maintain your bike twice a year, for the next 10 years, in the summer and winter months. Friday 11/9 Cube Kathmandu breaks with error code 513 - cadence sensor error. Bike has done 2 trips at this point. Hand in Monday 14/9 Jupiter Cycles Hillerød - Jupiter Hillerød first tries himself for about a week without success. - Jupiter Hillerød finds out that they cannot solve the problem themselves, as they destroy a screw and have to send it to BikeToyz ApS (Biketoyz.dk) - We hear nothing until we move 3 days later, where we are informed that BikeToyz still has not collected the bike. - Mechanic at BikeToyz so sick - apparently the only one in the workshop - they say it's Corona, but I doubt it as the rest of the place wasn't subsequently shut down - There are special parts missing from Germany but no ETA. - It turns out that they are missing a Torx, as they do not have that type of tool in their workshop. Wednesday 14/10 After 30 days, Jupiter Cykler in Hillerød gives up, as they still cannot tell me when the bike will be fixed. I call Jupiter's head office, who subsequently try to get an answer from (BikeToyz) themselves, but without success. We agree that Jupiter will contact BikeToyz again the next day - and me afterwards. Thursday 15/10 Jupiter's head office informs me of the details of the case and that I can get my money back, but Jupiter Cykler would like to remove the bad review of BikeToyz on the web - caused by BikeToyz I think. I'm basically against that, but we can agree on it once I've got my money back. Jupiter's head office acknowledges that the workshop in Hillerød is responsible for the mistake that was made, and they should have been better at communicating it. Subsequently, I take the other Cube bike that works (but has only been used twice, one of which was the trip home from the dealer) and hand it in to the workshop, as I am of the opinion that they will of course take both bikes back since they were bought together - but they don't want to, because the other one doesn't fail, which technically isn't incorrect if you see it as two part-deliveries. After a phone conversation with head office, we have to conclude that I have to keep the one bike and the bad reviews of both Jupiter and BikeToyz will be online. Jupiter tells stories about bad screws from Bosch, which in reality (confirmed by Bosch whom I contacted myself) are screws that Cube chooses himself. We are informed that a special size is chosen to make it difficult to steal an engine from the expensive bikes. Neither the workshop that sells the bike (Jupiter Hillerød) nor the workshop responsible for rep in Denmark (BikeToyz) obviously know this. It shows an infrastructure and organization that is not ready to support the Danish market when neither distributor nor dealer knows enough about the bike to be able to repair it. They talk about "special tool" and it is about an off-size torx bit... It can be sent in an envelope from Germany in 2 days if you WANT. Neither dealer nor distributor was aware of this tool before this problem occurred. Therefore, one must rightly be able to state; Neither Jupiter Cykler nor BikeToyz have the necessary knowledge or infrastructure in place to sell or service e-bikes of the Cube brand. My wife got the money back from her bike on 10/19 but not me I'm sure their PR department will immediately respond to this review, but they have had every opportunity to correct this error properly. - no, I'm not going to recommend either Jupiter or Cube. In fact, I will go so far as to say I will take every opportunity to warn against doing business with them, or their subcontractor.

Terrible service! Never set foot in this place. First you pay for preparation and receive a bike without air and completely loose in it. Then the "boss" threatens to polish your bike. Add a lousy place!

My experience at Jupiter Cycles in Hillerød was not good. -worst bike mechanic I've experienced. They can sell bikes but but their bike smith is terrible. They destroy a handlebar fitting by first over-tightening it at the preparation service after buying a bike from them. To correct the fault, under-tighten it at the next service. the result was a completely destroyed handlebar fitting. on our own inspection at another bicycle dealer we found that several ball bearings had jumped out of the handlebar fitting either during the second service at Jupitercycles or due to the overly loose tightening of the handlebar fitting. In addition, a cable was routed incorrectly to the specification (external gear), to such an extent that it did not work. I know what I'm talking about as I myself ordered replacement parts for the broken components and installed them corked with layman's tools. and had everything approved as properly installed by another bike fitter. not to mention that the bike now runs flawlessly. the incident happened in 2019

The staff made a super effort in the delivery of two mtb for the twins. One from Germany and the other from Funen despite several external challenges, Super proactive follow-up and delivery!!!! Thanks for the deal.

The bike I bought fell apart after 1 ride on it... After being down and getting it fixed, it broke 2 days after...

Was visiting this big shop looking for suggestions for a new racer. Both employees I met immediately took an interest in my requirements for the new one, and over the next 20 minutes I was guided, test drove and talked about sun and moons with them. They were both incredibly service minded, but still not just intent on making a sale. All in all, a really good experience and two colleagues Jupiter bikes can be proud to have. Come away with a nice new MET helmet :)

It started as a good experience...But that changed quickly; We had been around all the bicycle dealers in Hillerød to find a bicycle for my wife; Jupiter had the best price and the choice therefore fell on them. When we learn in the evening that the same model could be had elsewhere on the Internet a whole DKK 1100 cheaper, we inform Jupiter of this and ask if you want to match the price; The clerk showed obvious irritation and reluctance, but ended up agreeing to price match. Since the bike is a so-called basic model, selected equipment had to be purchased and retrofitted. Min wanted to buy a bicycle helmet at the same time - she had also seen this cheaper online. The clerk again expressed irritation and mumbled "That people just used them as a demo, and then went home and bought on the Internet". Then came the day when we had to collect. This time too, the clerk was in a bad mood; Very superficial communication and sloppy filling in of the warranty card and purchased service agreement. We had to go through all the received documentation ourselves when we got home. Then when my wife comes home with her new bike, she complains that the gears are noisy/chambering and one of the lights was not set correctly - so my wife had to go back to Jupiter to fix it! As prefaced, it started well but ended as a mediocre/bad experience - hence only 2 stars and no recommendation!
