We stayed here before Christmas and it was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. Annette and Erik were super welcoming. The room was so cosy and the food was better than Michelin food I have had. Could not recommend more!

Super cozy family owned-hotel. The building seemed quite old but the same time kept fresh and nice. Some kind of historical building, but I didn't got into the story of it since most of the "scripts" were in Danish. The rooms where a few but spacious with all the equipment one would ask. Some of them have direct access to the backyard where the owners grow their own herbs and veges! Somewhere in a corner of the back yard you can find a pair of Guinea pigs chilling and eating their greens. The interior is decorated in 1900's style which makes it very charming. The owners have filled the common rooms with small details which giving an insight of the Danish and sea culture. There is a barell-shaped minibar in the entrance with some alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. In the breakfast buffet room there 24/7 coffee/tea station for you to use. The hotel offers lunch and dinner but we unfortunately didn't had the time to eat there as well. The stuff is friendly and helpful even they've been working all day long, very big plus. Really easy to find location with the beach at close proximity, access to a gorgeous forest-park, and 10-15 min drive to the center of Helsingør. Looking forward to visit them again. Strongly recommended. For me 10/10!

A beautiful and charming hotel. Very homely and personal, with the owners’ impeccable hospitality welcoming each and every guest. Annette’s food is incredibly tasteful. She uses local ingredients, focuses on vegetables and creates dishes in harmony with the seasons. Very close to the sea and peaceful, clean beaches. Behind the hotel there is a wonderful forest with impressive, tall trees and countless windy paths for walking/running/biking. The perfect place to relax, meditate and have healthy meals.

This is a lovely little nautical themed Georgian style hotel. We had a back room with a view of the forrest (not sea). A very quiet room. Very clean with all the standard hotel amenities. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The huge and varied breakfast alone makes the stay worth it. The only minus is that I thought I'd get a bath in my room, but didn't. But that's probably down to me reading a bit too quickly when booking it. I love that they have free Gammeldansk available on the coffee table. It's a nice touch. Also, you can bring your own Guinea pig for 10 DKK a night. They have a gorgeous Guinea pig hotel themed on the White House. Made into a Guinea pigs paradise. I loved this detail. This was a romantic getaway for me and my girlfriend. This hotel was a good choice for that use.

The best place in Helsingor! Me and my Husband... back then fiance.... we came to Helsingor to get married. Before we got there we had amazing roadtrip all the way up from Poland to Denmark. We didn't think too much about accommodation and decided not to worry about it until we'll get there. We got to the Helsingor town I grabbed my phone to check hotels around and decided that we should try the Villa Brinkly. I had a very good feeling about that place and I wasn't mistaken. Very charming, cosy atmosphere. Perfect place, just right by the sea with the stunning view. The room was just what we needed. It was almost hugging you. Beautiful, big terrace where we spent lots of time. Owners!... Annette and Eric....well let me just tell you that we were almost late for our wedding, because conversation with them was so interesting and pleasant. They gave us little wedding gift (delicious wine and snacks). Thank you! Next time I'll make sure that we'll book the room little bit earlier because we were lucky to get this room. I wouldn't dream about better place for our wedding days. In a place full of love and warmth like that you can feel like home. Thank you Annette and Eric! Come to visit us in Alaska! <3

Thank you for the amazing time we experienced during our stay in this lovely place in 2017! Your place does not feel like a hotel. It feels like a home. With great heritage. You do everything with a special energy. It is very inspiring! And: Food was delicious!

Very good 2 night stay at Villa Brinkly. Welcome +++ (and in French), impeccable service, spacious and very nicely decorated room, quality bedding, 2 peaceful nights… we also had the chance to dine at the hotel restaurant: very good tasting composed of several specialties (in the form of a kind of savory then sweet tapas). Hearty, home-made breakfasts. Ideal geographical location between sea and forest and very close to Helsinki and the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art not to be missed… An excellent address!
