As a Ganløse citizen, the hawker market in May is the top event of the year, along with Ganløse By Night, which is held on the last weekend in August. The hawker market is a good size, you can easily spend half or a whole day shopping / sniffing all the hawker stalls (up to 150 in total). In addition, there is a food tent and a beer stall, as well as a stall selling sausages. Don't forget the coffee and apple slice stall. For the little ones and the playful, there is a large summer fair with carousels, jumping book, etc. When the sun is shining, it's really a wonderful experience - also because the market is located on Grønningen, which is a large area close to the city center, where there are never allotments for villas etc. The profit from the market goes uncut to the sports associations in the city, which in turn contribute labor to the running of the market. The association Idrættens Venner is the organizer.
