I personally do not enjoy spicy food and... going to a curry restruant was not such a good idea :-P I am sure the food was great, but.... my tastebuds disagreed after about 1 or 2 bites. The drink sizes were also very small, only a 25l cola for 30kr which for me was not enough to drink with spicy food. My partner, who happens to love spicy food - thinks it was a decent indian meal. The garlic naan was great. The service was okay, waitress was very nice and our meal was delivered very fast. Overall we are relativly happy with the experience, and if you enjoy spicy food, definately would reccomend.

I've been to 7+ different indian restaurants in the Copenhagen area and this was the worst yet. Pricy, poor service, dry & tough chicken and lamb, grilled veggies tasted cheap, small portion size - only the safran sauce was tasty. One waiter stared at us from less than a meters distance, while we looked over the menu and knew nothing of diary free dishes. The next waiter had his thumb buried deep in my safran sauce while serving. We complained about the food and didn't pay for the lamb sizzlers luckily.

We've been to most of the Indian restaurants in the area (Soborg, Bagsvaerd, Lyngby, Copenhagen) and this one rates among the top. Price wise, it's very reasonable (eating out in DK is not cheap). As for flavor/spice, this is one of the few places that gets it right. They don't seem to have the variety on the menu as others, but I've been mildly successful in ordering "off menu" (e.g. Palak Paneer). It's in our neighborhood (Vangede), so super convenient. On the minus, we've been here during when it's been "normal" busy and the wait time was unbearable. Once, I ordered takeaway, and waited a good 45 min just to pick up. We just went on a late, Tuesday night (20:30), and service was excellent...restaurant was empty. In all, I'd still recommend it. They just opened earlier this year, so I hope their food quality/flavor remains consistent, and their service improves.

Have to walk a kilometer to reach them, still willing to do so for their chikcen tikka masala. I recently shifted to CPH while my husband has been ordering from them since some time. I bought the same item from another store and that was so disgusting that I had to buy it again from here. Too good.

Had the pleasure of eating at Curry lounge. The vegetarian sizzlers ( off the menu but they plan to have it on menu soon ) were extremely tasty with crispy vegetables and soft paneer. The Curry lounge serves the best naans in town. The ambience is nice and cosy for an enjoyable evening with family and friends over delicious authentic meal.
