Sara Willeborg
Homemade yummy waffles, lots of different flavours of ice-cream and different toppings . You can build your ice-cream just the way you like it and even get a "flødebolle" on the top.

Tastes like frozen marshmallows, if you like real Italian gelato don’t try the artificial taste here. They only accept cash by the way!

Its just ok. Tasty ice cream but in tiny portions. I know places where I get 3 times as much. Not a place I will return to unfortunately...

Very nice traditional Danish ice-cream,

Lives up to the hype and is worth the wait. It is quintessentially Danish and very old school: no fancy, hip taste variants, just well homemade old-school Danish ice cream in five classic flavours: Chocolate, Vanilla, Pistachio, Strawberry and Nougat. The latter is to die for. The waffle cones are made in house as well and very good.

Best ice cream place in Denmark! It's been here for decades and serves the same flavours as it did when I was little: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, nougat, pistachio. It has a really homely feel to it and the staff are super friendly. They don't take cards though, so bring cash.

Brostræde ice cream has ceased to exist. What used to be the best ice cream shop in the whole of Denmark (and perhaps the whole world) was sold to someone who disregarded what made this place special to instead sell generic ice cream from a large brand. I have so many memories from taking the ferry across Öresund with my grandparents with the sole purpose of walking to brostræde and buying the best ice cream there was. Now there's no reason to bother - it's the same stuff you can get in every shop in every city in every country. It is an enormous tragedy that the shop is gone and is replaced by an imposter shop which, frankly, disrespects what the name stood for. But hey, guess it's cheaper for them to run it now at least.
