Bisgaards Bageri is quite average, with a general selection of white & rye breads, rolls, pastries, and cakes. All white breads are with a softer texture, and you will not find anyone with a nice crust, sourdough, etc. or more dark versions of white breads. Bread rolls are equally average,.....and the same applies for pastries and cakes. Innovation and development in more exciting loafs of bread and rolls, like experienced in other parts of Denmark, is missing and in demand!

Nice bakery with tasty sandwiches and perfect walking distance from Frederiksborg castle (perfect since there are few lunch options at the castle). We had a nice lunch in a park at a picknick bench in the shade across from the bakery.

Not bad but not as good as we expected. Coffee was cold. No more croissant and the rest of the pastries were overly sweet and too soft.

Had to wait 15 min - there was no one to dispatch, and even though I shouted "hello" several times, NOTHING happened. More customers came. I went around the back - imagine if something had happened. Many shouts before a young guy emerged from the toilet. I bought in, and raspberry slices and muffins were put in the same bag - clever, so I had to ask for another bag so that it wasn't all piled up. It was a very bad experience - unfortunately.
