I went to the south indian fredriksberg last weekend after long time. First of all this restaurant is not south indian. I don't understand why do they have the South Indian menu if they are not making any of them? The service was very disappointing. I have to remind the person to give us the plates. Importantly, we found a worm moving in one of the curry. See the video 👇. Later they make another one. Few years back this restaurant use to be one of my first choice for south Indian food. But now it is very very disappointing. Who ever is managing is very bad and unhygienic. 👎 😐

Been to the South Indian chain in Aarhus and other locations in Copenhagen. The food and then ambiance is great. The service can improve a lot in this location. Hope the managers would work on this and would love to visit again.

A petty nice restaurant, with a quiet and refined atmosphere, whilst still not being too stuffy. The food is pretty authentic and of good quality. If I was to compare this with other Indian Restaurants catering for the same market and specialising in South Indian I would probably have to say it was 3.5 stars, but in Denmark in general finding any type of Indian restaurant is difficult let alone a decent one, therefore 4 stars based on it being that for an Indian Restaurant in Copenhagen. The food was tasty, a good selection, average Copenhagen prices for middle tier places and the staff were pretty good. I would recommend a reservation on any day other than Sunday and Monday.

I would not say it's authentic india styled food joint but it has its own style of flavours ..food was served hot and was delicious.. the waitress was generous to give a complimentary indian drink which shows their good culture.. overall a very good experience...

We tried some chettinad style food. It was so hot.Terrible! I knew how'sl chettinad food because i lived there for 4 years. Only the samosa was tasty and good. Also the restaurant people should be friendly. They're not caring the guests. I won't recommend anyone to go. Try to be friendly with guests.

We are Srilankan tamils and looked for some traditional restaurants near our hotel. We ended up ordering the spicy buriyani and dosa sambar. Although the spices differ from a homecook meal we were very positively suppriced by the taste and quality. In our opinion you can really get the idea of the Indian/Tamil food taste. Another improvement could be providing more sodas like a sprite or coke. Adding this with the spices which differ from the homemade meals we grade it with 4 of 5 stars. - Ramachandra

Chicken was served with vegetarian dish. We ordered paneer 65 and we found chicken in it. This is not acceptable. Those who wish to order and have vegetarian food should be respected and dishes should be served carefully . Else please do not serve vegetarian food for the sake of it.

Wonderful meal, richly spiced and filling. Very tasty. Just the right degree of hot for us. Friendly service, spoke English. Love that they have several vegan options. Got takeaway chettinad veg kurma and prawn biryani. ❤️😋🍛
