Safe place! Absolutely wonderful! Top-class food, and what's more, I dare say, a completely unique atmosphere. You simply have a blast when you're there. Fixed menu with many wonderfully tasty and very fun combinations. And some completely crazy! 😄 So liberating to have a place that delivers top class food, but makes you feel like you're at best friend's and drinking heavily.

Indescribably magical and playful all in "dinner experience!! The evening just disappeared in a flurry of flavors, surprises, unexpected combinations and happy waiters. Everything is so relaxed and so good and so fun and you enjoy the evening with a constant smile on your face! Thank you team Smörtaxen, we will be back!

Summer time and drop-in for Smörtaxen's patio. They have made it very cozy there. There are different hatches with different hot and cold dishes. The raw beef salad was absolutely fantastic. Drinks are bought at the JÖGKIOSKEN.

Got one of their desirable tables at Taxen all in. The first impression and reception was super nice, direct and familiar. A bit like coming home to friends and eating. The venue is small but the various tables are well placed. It didn't feel crowded or crowded to us, just intimate. Before the servings, various choices of drinks are given that go incredibly well with the dishes. Any drinks we didn't like? No problem! Incredibly accommodating in all requests. It felt like every detail was thought out. Not only in the food itself, but also in the aesthetics and the stories around the dishes. Playful, fine dining in a style that brought completely new dimensions to "ordinary" dishes. 2 (if not 3 actually) of the dishes we ate yesterday were definitely the best I've ever eaten. And who would have thought that you would feel that way about an "ugly fish" for example. We nodded a little in front of loud music and a long evening for 2 childless parents of young children. But what did we have to worry about! We were never bored or felt like we had to wait too long. The whole evening was very well planned, even in the logistics of the servings. Hope we manage to be just as fast in front of table releases in the future as well!
