A most picturesque setting, was super cozy! The food was absolutely delicious! But quite pricey.. The staff were sweet and smiley, though they asked several times if they could clear the table, felt a bit rushed... The last waitress almost fainted when we asked to split the bill ... Because of this unnecessary little wobbly, I'm giving 1 star less.

Very cozy restaurant with an old fashioned interior. Went here because it was the only place that still had tables left, but we're definitely not disappointed. The meals were very nicely presented, and the service was quite fast. Fish as well as risotto tasted delicious, as were the desserts (crème brulee and pancakes). On top of that the restaurant is not at all expensive for Danish standards, so it's a great bang for buck deal.

Wouldn’t have given it a chance based on rating and comments but it turned out to be one of the very few places that were open on January 1st. Having been prepared for bad experience, we ended up being pleasantly surprised. Both food and staff were ok but I agree with the comments about being overpriced.

Had an early dinner at about 4.30pm... ordered 2 mains, the roasted pork and halibart... both were yummy and portion were enough for our appetite.

The restaurant offers classic Danish dishes right around the corner of Nytorv square overlooking Copenhagen City Hall. It has a rustic atmosphere and is laid-back enough to hang around and slow-walk my dinner. The tables outside on the steps were perfect for lingering over coffee and pastries, while lower down in the dining hall was sumptuous Scandinavian cuisine just waiting to be devoured. I passed by this place a few times while touring the area, and there's always a buzz of activity. It wasn't on my list initially, but my guide pointed out this as a good alternative when Restaurant Kronborg wasn't available.

Placed in the heart of Copenhagen in a historic building. Typical tourist trap - Food and beer very overpriced (90 kr for 0.4l beer!) 400 for a small platter. Waiters friendly they do not speak any Scandinavian languages though.

We went to this place four years ago and loved it. Hence we remembered it when we returned. An absolutely lovely Cafe with fantastic staff, brilliant. We had multiple items from the menu and enjoyed the wonderful hospitality. Lialia? You and your team were amazing. Hopefully see you again during our travels x
