Cozy business dinner. Wiener schnitzel tasted good, sauce medium. Price and quality went together, service was top notch, we got a delicious cheese platter after the meal. Thank you for the lovely food and service. We will come again

We had dinner at 1971 and had a super cozy evening with the most delicious food. The French onion soup tasted wonderful. For the main course we had the beef wellinton and baked cod. Both dishes were superb. The service was good and the prices are sharp. We will definitely come again.

Finally I found a gem after so many days in Copenhagen. Restaurant 1971 offers Danish home cooking with a twist. It is exactly what I love and have longed for. The restaurant is run by siblings Dennis Kiirdal and Jeannette Kiirdal Madsen, who really live up to my expectations. It was clearly worth walking across half of Copenhagen to enjoy really good food. Here, classic and good ingredients have been highlighted with passion and great respect. It's a bit like being in my restaurant kitchen. I just want to jump in and work here. We even received a liquor bag with the delicious crème from the chef.
