Nice place with good food. Also, it’s exceptionally cheap. When I was there, they only charged 89 sek for lunch with coffee. The Korma I got tasted really good, and different than most other Indian places. Not sure if it’s more or less genuine. While it looks a bit worn down from the outside, it’s well kept inside. Service is quick and friendly. Overall I’d say this is probably the best Indian restaurant in Helsingborg, which is surprising, considering the price level.

We came as a group of 7. The menu offers many dishes, which are separated in the sub groups Starters, Chicken-/ Lamb-/ veggie-/ prawns-/ rice dishes. All of the group include plenty of nice dishes: the classics like tikka masala but also special creations. We got chicken-/ lamb- a vegan and biryani (spicy rice dish) as well as salads and a chicken soup. The curries were OK but also not too good. We missed some flavouring and simply a unique taste. But we can highly recommend the naan, the chicken soup and also the salads on the side added some freshness. We had the feeling that the service was sometimes a bit rude while they were attentive and fast. Overall a good restaurant - especially the chicken soup and naan!

We loved the food. Service was excellent. Location too with easy access by bus and a parking space next to it. We ordered chicken Tikka, butter chicken, biryani, and some appetizers. The kids loved the food, we did too. They should offer less spicy options for the people who are not into lots of spices.

The food is sooo good! The best Indian food I have had in Sweden. The owner is very friendly, and will talk to you like friends. There is a reason for the high rating. ☺️

Mehak e India is among the top 3 Indian restaurants in skåne based on my taste buds. They offer some lip smacking delectable dishes such as besan gatte, paneer bhurji, okra/ bhindi masala, Dahi bhalle, bread pakora, dahi chicken to name a few. Off late they have started some very nice lunch buffets. Spreads of 8-10 items but all of them are made so well, unlike most other buffets. Huge kudos to the team serving dishes made out of pure love.

Best indian food experience in Helsingborg. Cuisine is pure indian and so is the taste. Veg Vindaloo is to go for to if you crave spicy food. Paneer dishes are unique to taste in different variations. Chicken preparations are were also good. Mango lassi is not to the mark of great taste but still quite okay. Naans seems to be localised in Sweden with kind of pizza base taste in whole Helsingborg or may be in whole Sweden, which is not really authentic to taste or feel, so cant really complain here... Owner is friendly and accomodating. Overall a great experience.

Dropped in for a late lunch. They offered lunch specials but as we came past the time, we ordered from the alacarte menu instead. The menu is huge and has many dishes to choose from. During this visit, we were recommended lamb as it's their specialty. We ordered a lamb biriyani, a lamb curry, a plain nann and mango lassi. 🔸️Lamb biriyani 👍👍👍 (rice was full of flavor but meat was tough) 🔸️Lamb curry 👍👍👍 (mildly spicy, meat was tender) 🔸️Plain nann 👎(very dry and hard) 🔸️Mango lassi 👍👍(milky sweet, lacks the kick of a tangy mango pulp) The restaurant is well furnished, close to street parking and not far from the center. Late afternoon when we visited, the restaurant was empty. Medium sized restaurant with good number of seats. Helpful staff, good service.
