The best wienerbrød med creme I have had. The cremesnegl is also amazing. My only complaint is that they don't have more creme based or traditional danish pastries. They are often sold out of anything with creme/custard after kl 14. More creme based pastries please, they are incredible!

By far the best lagkage we have ever had. I would recommend Ida's bakery to everyone. Worth the visit.

This is a very cosy, clean and modern bakery, with a small corner for seated guests. The clerk was open, welcoming and knew the range well - and was just informed that all their bread was made from long-rising sourdough and that all pastries were made with butter. All smiling and in good spirits. It doesn't seem that the selection is huge when it comes to their bread, but there are also different types of buns if you prefer it. But what they have in the bakery looks really delicious. Bread: I bought a pumpkin bread (Price: DKK 38, even cheaper every Monday) with both pumpkin and sunflower seeds, and it was really great. The whole loaf was eaten in just one day and it gets 5 out of 5. I will definitely go back here and try the other types of bread from Ida's Bakery, but could easily see this becoming my favorite. I also bought a sandwich with chicken and curry dressing, as well as masala spices. This was a Friday deal so I got a log for free. Sandwich: Again this is a winner and at a fair price. The bread has good resistance and fills, there was a reasonable amount of tasty chicken, and accompanying salad. The only thing I could miss in this sandwich would be some crispy bacon, which would have been perfect, but overall 4.5 out of 5. Snazzy: the log is very solid, with a nice layer of marzipan, the right amount of chocolate, and the cake batter in the center wasn't too compact or heavy. It is extremely rare that I buy tree trunks or similar "snacks" (I usually stick to tea birches, seed snappers and snails), but based on what it is I would give it 5 out of 5. I got a taste test in the store of their raspberry snail. I won't give this grade because I haven't eaten a whole one, but I will definitely try some of the exciting type of treats here the next few times I visit Ida's Bakery. Definitely one of Vestegnen's best bakeries. I will definitely come again, even if I have to make a detour to stop by and would warmly encourage everyone to shop here. Support a real baker who makes good baked goods.

Peter Pekala tells it very well. I bought two loaves myself: pumpkin and walnut, and both went down very well with the colleagues. Service was top notch, super welcoming and smiling clerk, where we could talk back and forth about more than just the weather. Not the last time I swing by here - I'm a fan!
