First of all, expect service slow from all review I saw here, but it is not(may be it is because not 100% full 😬😬) We order set menu and get our drinks separately …. Here is the feeling : Soups — fantastic ! Wonderful ! Super warm and good taste Starter — frankly speaking, all is not much taste at all 😅😅 I seldom add salt but still have to, also not very warm Shrimp — Good !!!!!!!! Main course — fish & meat balls(beef) Fish are very smooth and taste light, but Good and just not very warm. Meat ball is ok but not warm too. Dessert — all good ! Why I keep on saying “not warm” as may think due to the weather outside is -10c and indoor is not very warm actually so it makes all dishes landed table , than being not warm. Really wish they try to find a way make indoor warm ;) However, staffs are Really Good as they know I am cold so serve me a sweet hot tea immediately. I also like their caring and would back for a drinks for sure ! M OH … their toilet is clean & warm 🤣🤣🤣

Tasty food, great service done by our waiter. Overall great experience. Loved the paella. This restaurant has a great outdoor seating for sunny days.

Duero a new restaurant in town, but need more TLC food wise! I had looked forward to this new eatery in Hillerød, and hoped it could be another 'jewel' for the town, with regards to Mr Singh's which we discovered 6 month earlier. We bumped into some friends on the way to Duero and was told it was just an 'OK' experience - but thought they probably did not appreciate the Spanish kitchen and kept the positive expectation! Upon arrival we decided to go for the 'Menu de la Casa' and picked an excellent red wine to accompany the many dishes. First impression was high, with excellent service throughout the evening, equally a nice ambience in the restaurant and for those two reasons, Duero manages to score a 3 x star rating! The food however was not that impressive and unfortunately at a level, that we are not going to return for another meal service in the near future! PAN CON TOMATE - I was not sure if it was the bread version selected or the bread was just too stale, but it was not grilled / toasted sufficiently to kill the 'stale taste', which turned down the experience, and equally the tomato base just couldn't compensate for this + it too was a bit flat in taste. ALBONDIGAS CASERAS - Probably some of the most sad tasting Spanish meatballs we have ever tried, just bland, boring and the tomato sauce failed as well. CARNE DEL DIA - For our main we ordered lamb and beef respectively. Both the beef and the lamb was roasted to perfection (medium), but a total turn off, serving it with frozen based vegetables and potato wedges. I can't remember the last time I was served frozen based vegetables, but probably one of the most bland tasting experiences and with potato wedges, which had not been properly roasted or spiced to compliment the meat experience. It really crashed the whole dinner experience for the evening and set the standard of the restaurant quality! POSTRE DEL DIA - Nice assortment of local desserts from Spain, all nice, but I would rather prefer half the selection and get the kitchen to focus on the tapas and main dishes perfection, as for me the desserts cannot save a set dinner like this. An successful ethnic restaurant will serve food to a level, so you don't have to jump on a plane, in this case Spain......but Duero is just not there and it leaves you with a mixed and disappointed experience. Duero Management Team, please provide some TLC to the kitchen soonest, so you can get the 5 x star rating in place and allow us to return!

Recently visited this Spanish restaurant in Hallirod and I was impressed with my experience. The paella was delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the atmosphere cozy and comfortable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a great atmosphere. Don't miss out on the opportunity to try this gem in Hallirod

The best food, service and atmosphere 🙏🏻 I would definitely recommend it for cosy evening to come here and try Spanish tapas. The atmosphere in the local is really nice with even better service. Highly recommend.

Not 400 kr worth pr person for the menu. But I guess since it is tapas expect small portion that's overpriced. Also tried to charge for a coffee that never arrived and then started a slight discussion after we pointed out it didn't because we mentioned it by the wrong name at first. (Which we realized but didn't change that the espresso never arrived yet was still on the bill) Slip ups can happen but then atleast just change the mistake instead of trying to take it up on a discussion. One experience there was enough
