3+ basically a very nice hotel with large rooms. A hard cheap bedding mattress on top of a medium continental bed works lowers the score. Savings on maintenance presented a broken toilet seat. Breakfast of standard quality for this type of hotel. Free parking, could be less jammed.

The surface material of the shower floor stuck to the soles of the feet and was broken. I almost got an electric shock from the floor lamp in my room, because the ends of the cord were visible in the lamp. Some of the front desk staff were rude to customers. For example, she assumed that customers knew where the hotel's spa was and where the outdoor hot tubs were. The staff even seemed a little angry when I asked for more information about the spa. I was at the hotel on my business trip and the hotel was already booked for me by someone else, so I didn't know anything about the hotel until I got there.

Cleanliness: Found hairs under the pillows in the 1st room and fluff, maybe animal fur under the bed. The 2nd room was slightly better but far from good. Dirty cups, dirty bathroom walls, crumbs on the furniture.. they didn't have another room. Facilities: If you're planning a relaxing getaway just beware you might arrive in the middle of a loud company team-bulding. We had ti schedule our spa time according to their activities to have some peace, because otherwise it was overfilled with shouting and partying. Paying 375 dkk/person per day is frustrating when this is the case. Toiletries: The bathroom in the room had no shampoo, only a watered down shower gel from ecooking. Ok, then I thought I'd wash my hair after the spa. Wrong again. There was no shampoo, conditioner or body lotion in the spa either. But they're more than happy to sell you an extensive selection of products near the reception. Wouldn't it be a better strategy to at least have some testers? Food: The dinner was close to being the redeeming factor, they actually have a plant based menu and the pumpkin basil soup was delicious. Unfortunately they did not taste the sauce for the main dish which was extremely salty. The waiter was shocked when returning from the kitchen after tasting it. Reception: when checking in the receptionist avoided speaking to me as well as even making eye contact, as my partner speaks Danish so it was easier to just communicate with him. I can understand that, but the booking was in my name, so a basic acknowledgement would have been nice. But instead they changed the booking to his name and continued ignoring. I don't want to assume what they thought, but the experience itself felt demeaning. I'm still giving it 2 stars because the staff did make an effort and our dinner was complimentary. The problem runs deeper and my impression is that this hotel is struggling. But at least try to hire more cleaners so they have more time/room, and please pay them a proper wage. The state of the rooms reflects this issue. I can't recommend this to anyone in good faith.

I by all means recommend a stay in this nice hotel in Helsignoer. The staff are very professional, local as well as international cousine is outstanding, rooms tidy, together with peaceful environment and handicapped persons friendly interior.

I stayed only 1 night to relax my self and it was good, the spa is not big but have everything you might need, outdoor jacuzzis are really amazing, big saunas and relax space. I did not like to walk wet and in flip-flops from indoor spa to the other side of the hotel passing by reception and all corridors, that’s not pretty. Rooms are comfortable but TV is old, WIFi does not reach rooms, fine the rest of the hotel. You can remove armchairs, are completely useless. I had dinner in the restaurant and sincerely it is so overpriced for a normal and not well cooked ribeye, rest is chips, bread and a huge amount of different butter creams, nothing special, not mention wines, so overpriced. Breakfast was good but so crowded and difficult to find a seat. Check out at 10 am is so strict for a vacation hotel. Lovely surrounding forests anyway

Hotel with swimming pool, spa and gym equipped with all comforts. Spacious and clean room. Very helpful staff. Breakfast for all tastes. Free parking.

Great breakfast, top outside sauna! And the most green outside area. I like Hotels where the bathrooms are more comfortable but for this location I can forget it.
