bidding for a house we never receive notification of how was the bidding going, at the end we receive a call saying the house got sold for nothing.. and we could bid more because they say already close the bidding.....

Warning for likely scammers. They got the house sold within a reasonable time, but without putting it on the open market (the home, the block, etc..). In hindsight, we think the house was sold to a crony, who probably didn't have to worry about higher bids. Beware. In addition, fairly incompetent broker when it came to interaction with lawyers during estate discovery.
