One of our great finds in Copenhagen where you’re welcomed with open arms by Fridrik, the owner with such panache and openness, smiling away as he makes your drinks and regales you with stories about his 20+ year old laundromat cafe and travels. We had delicious tea and the food looks top notch. We should be back if we’re in Osterbro. His dog Bruno was outside under a blanket and we gave him love in spades much like we got from his kind guardian. The cafe itself has so much style and comfort that we could hang out from sunrise to sunset. Check it out!

UPDATE! November 24th: I am dissatisfied with Laundromat Cafe. I ordered the Elvis pancakes that I had raved about months ago and was met with something black and green on the edge of one of my pancakes. Inspecting it and then sending it back, I got a remake of the dish, only for my bacon to look unappetising and black. I received my money for the dish and credit to the waitress for taking care of me but that alone will not be a reason that I will am back. *Picture of the issues are attached.* September 15th : Had breakfast here yesterday with my mom and ordered the Elvis pancakes and chocolate shake (after she told me where to get a menu, since which weren’t very easy to find) My chocolate shake was decently quick to arrive and not to sugary/ sweet, with chopped up chocolate in it which I liked it. The pancakes were very nice, a sort of doughy, fall-apart texture and stacked up high. One of them was a little burnt and that made it unpleasantly chewy. But overall, I really enjoyed the meal and the vibe of the restaurant, it’s really relaxed and fun.

This Café looks like it is just over the top - it has crazy but playful decoration. It was a fun experience, and my friend and I had some nice hot chocolate. This is definitely a Café for families with younger children, as there is space and toys for children to play with inside. I think that is a nice idea!

Pleasantly surprised of enjoying a lovely brunch while doing laundry. Space and staff are super welcoming and inviting especially with families! Brunch was EXCELLENT and plentiful!

Amazing food, the clean (vegetarian brunch) was phenomenal. All the simple flavours combined well and I especially liked how different the beetroot hummus was and all the colourful food! Prices were slightly high but totally worth it for the quality and quantity of the food :) I wish I could come back here again sometime but I totally recommend this place to any tourists or locals.

Great (and very large) brunch! Atmosphere is charming and they have more seating than most other places like it. Might get busy since it’s well known but we were able to get a table (maybe because it’s somewhat removed from central Copenhagen?)

Great place that's cozy and welcoming at the same time, I had the luck to be served by Thea, she was really helpful throughout the language barrier and even went out of her way to explain us completely one of the specialties of the season which is highly appreciated, would totally visit again 😊
