Just watched the wonderful Woman in Gold but was disturbed by the poor translation; nowhere does it appear that Adele and Maria's mother are sisters - on the other hand, that Adele's husband and Maria's father are brothers, which makes Adele Maria's aunt or possibly aunt. In addition, Maria thinks that the young lawyer's mother reminds him of his grandmother's cousin marriage or incest? Greetings Marianne Bjurwill

In the movie What If, at 1:26, three cities are mentioned. First Tel Aviv and then Istabul and Mumbai. Tarja Sahlsten had never heard the words Tel Aviv. It is a great city on the Mediterranean Sea in Israel.

Hi Marianne After all, the film is based on real events, and Adele's and Marie's mothers are sisters, as well as their fathers are brothers, which means that she is actually both an aunt and an aunt, and neither term is wrong. We hope you enjoyed the movie anyway. We also think the film is good, and as I said, there is nothing wrong with the translation in this one. Best wishes, Jesper Buhl, Scandinavian Text Service
