Slammed myself out on Saturday night, and was told that the entire lock had to be replaced, as according to them it was too far from letter slot to lock. That is DKK 1400 for a new lock instead of the approx. DKK 700 to open the door. Called the cycling locksmith instead, who came out and opened the door via the letter slot without any problems and at a good price.. Take what they say with a grain of salt... Can highly recommend the cycling locksmith at Østerbro in return.

After a break-in, I had to get a new lock. I chose to have all the locks changed at the same time, so that I could secure the house better in the future. I also chose to get window locks on the windows that faced the garden. They respected the price and all the agreed times and therefore get my warmest recommendations.

I had obtained a number of offers for the installation of 4 lock boxes including new cylinders and the replacement of two existing cylinders (mailbox and gl lock), before I came into contact with Protect Låse, who got the job. From the start, they responded day-to-day to all inquiries (email/text/telephone), and they were flexible about when the work had to be carried out. They kept all appointments (they were past 3 times) and arrived exactly at the agreed times. There was one thing I would have liked to have improved a little and they did it on the spot without asking any questions. I agreed to have the locks delivered with cylinders in the Medeco system rather than Ruko. On the other hand, they could solve the task better and cheaper than anyone else I had contact with. I spent some time researching the Medeco system before accepting, and Medeco is America's answer to Ruko. In addition, they supplied a variant of the Medeco system, which is safer than the Ruko system I had otherwise been offered. So, all in all, I have been very satisfied with the work carried out, even if in Denmark it may seem a bit *strange* to install something other than Ruko, which we all grew up with.
