A very nice, old fashioned coffeebar, where you can have the traditional morning coffee and bread with selection of cheeses until 10 o´clock and after 10 the offer a wide selection of the traditional Danish open-faced-sandwiches. On wednedays they offer todays special, or warm lunch, this could for example be Forlaren Hare, which is the danes take on meatloaf, or the very traditional Boller i Karry, meatballs in sweet curry sauce. The atmosphere is very retro with the interior still looking like it did in the 70´s. A couple of old jackpot machines and the original expedition desk. The service is always friendly and personal. This is a place I take my foreign guests, to show them the real Danish soulfood and breakfast/lunch culture.

A decent "romkugle". Like most other cafés the staff is unfortunately not barista trained so the coffee is as good as in other places.

Stumbled upon this place whilst waiting for bike repair - a hidden treasure, charming old school cafe, gives a feeling of 30-40 years ago - including the prices! :)
