Not the widest menu, but surely the best take away in the area. Do order ahead, as their popularity sometimes causes things to be sold out. While the two burgers are great and possibly the best fries in miles, do try their other choices as their are fantastic too.

Fantastic Christmas lunch. We were delivered the Christmas lunch menu for 10 people, arranged on beautiful platters and the perfect amount so that everyone was full without huge amounts left over. The home-made curried herring was a hit, and right up there with the most amazing herb-rimmed salmon. We're looking forward to some leftovers today and it certainly won't be the last time we've ordered from Caws! 🎄🎄

I got a wiener schnitzel, which was ok, but unfortunately wrapped in aluminum foil, so it managed to get soft. My potatoes were charred on one side - not just a little, but completely inedible and unfortunately packed together with the peas, which had taken a taste of it. I don't understand that they choose to serve it when it is so obvious that they had ruined the food. One of the two stars is for the tiramisu. It was made with whipped egg whites instead of mascarpone and tasted like cream buns. It had nothing to do with tiramisu, but I like cream puffs! My son's burger was ok without being great. My wife's penne with salmon was not good and most of it ended up in the bin. I will not come again, unfortunately.

Food that fills you up and tastes good. Unfortunately, it lacks innovation, but as I said it tastes really good. Casper, who runs the place, is a super nice guy.
