A great place to spend an afternoon or evening with friends playing games and having fun, especially if it is cold or rainy outside. They have probably over 100 games that you can play for free, and many others that you can rent for a small fee. There is plenty of seating and large tables, but on busy days it is always full, so arriving early is always better. The food menu is limited, but fairly cheap and fairly good. They have plenty of drinks available including beer, wine, mixed drinks, coffee, etc. It’s the perfect place to visit when you are tired and want to relax or the weather is bad! We spent about 5 hours here playing games and learning a few new ones, and we will definitely recommend this place to our friends!

Amazing place. Had some spare time on the last day of our trip to Copenhagen that were happily spent here. We ordered food and drink from the qr code on the table and played a variety of the free games on offer. A mix of Danish and English games available. A great atmosphere and I’d love to find a concept of similar quality back in the UK.

What an experience!!! If you ever come to Copenhagen, you MUST come to bastard’s cafe, if not to play their board games, just to experience the atmosphere here. It is quintessential hygge. There’s nothing like gathering around a challenging, exciting board game during a cold winter day. Their collection of board games is up to date and fun, with a delicious selection of drinks and small bites to tide over your hunger pangs. Please come to experience…

Great place for a couple of games and a drink and maybe some snacks. They have a large selection of games to rent or play for free. Lots of tables and space.

ugh, favourite place to go in copenhagen - especially during the winter. it’s very hard to get a seat if you don’t book, but its worth it. the snacks are yummy too, especially the truffle cheese toastie. there’s thousands of games to choose from, and always “gurus” there to help you find a game or help out. PS. Try out this game - its simple, fun and for everyone.

Nice guests, warm autosphere, very nice service and kind workers; thousands of board games...free and not free. Literally heaven. A hidden gem for friends and social life in Copenhagen. I had the best time for 3 hours. God bless who ever had an idea to open this place.

Awesome place, lots of games and the atmosphere is superb! However it smelled a little bit within the place, nothing that would bother you, more just the smell of people. Great selection of beers, wine not so much. Food looked good but I didn’t have any.

Amazing board game cafe with over 4000 board games. They fill up the rafters and shelf space all around the cafe. There's great variety and they have every game you might want. The food is light snacks, I had the nachos which were gluten free and a lemonade.
