An excellent quality Danish restaurant, suitable for any occasion, from candlelit dinners for couples to a cheerful meal with friends. The Olive offers a complete menu (four courses) for just under 60 euros, a reasonable amount compared to what you eat. The first appetizer was a salmon tartare with onion, accompanied by a delicious thin crusty homemade bread. The second course is delicious: mushroom cream soup with truffle with an authentic flavour. Let's move on to the main course: beef fillet with cooking of your choice (we prefer it "blue", i.e. practically raw) accompanied by mixed vegetables (asparagus, green beans and courgettes), mashed potatoes and an exquisite sauce made with the cooking sauce of the meat and dried tomatoes. Closing beautifully with creme brulee. An excellent dinner, welcoming staff and a quiet place despite being very popular and often sold-out. Highly recommended!

So overall a nice place to visit, good food, tasty and polite service. Great cocktails, if you are a lover of old fashioned, i recommend to try it. The most negative element is the interior layout and design. Tables are too packed next to each other. Really hard to talk with your partner and eventually the atmosphere become more calm after 21:00 when people left. Please reconsider changing the table setting. Prices are okay for CPH standards. The price per person was 550 including, water, starter, main course and a cocktail. The steak dish (popular choice) is tasty yet not something extraordinary. The starters mushroom soup and mussels are highly recommended it.

I came here with a friend and we had a fabulous evening The food was delicious, we had the tasting menu with wine pairing, and all was to die for Absolutely top-notch, from the atmosphere to service and food. I'd definitely come back and have recommended this to others who went to Copenhagen

Tried in November 2023. We had the set menu and both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktail pairings. Service was good, and the food was also good, but not particularly special. The non-alcoholic pairing was quite disappointing, two of the drinks were just bottled juice. Overall, a pleasant enough experience, but rather forgettable. I expected something more based on the rating of the place.

Can’t recommend this place enough. We went for the four course set menu which was extremely good value for money. Every dish was exceptional especially the mushroom soup and steak. The ambiance of the restaurant is cosy and reminiscent of a ski chalet with wooden interiors and lots of candles. Service was top notch every waiter was lovely.

Right when you walk into this restaurant you feel the coziness and warmth from the decor to the lighting. We were greeted and seated right away with having reservations (highly recommend). All the servers we had that evening were friendly and very knowledgeable with the wine and menu. The mussels were very delicious. It had a sweet curry like taste with the broth it was in. I chose the duck and it was perfectly cooked. The crunchy skin and tender meat was delicious. My partner got the salmon tartar and the steak which she loved. I would highly recommend coming here for a nice evening out.

We did love the restaurant. It has a romantic, cozy atmosphere, focused on smaller tables for couples. The meals are not danish, but rather european, but they are very well prepared. Book in advance, its always full of people.

Could not fault a thing about the olive kitchen. Food was amazing and so was the atmosphere, drinks and service. Best meal we’ve ever had - special recommendation to the mushroom soup, duck confit and chocolate cake (and the cocktails!).
