*Disappointing customer service experience against reported manufacturing defects for my first bike from thansen.* I have collected my bike from thansen store yesterday (24 August 2023) and noticed below two defects on the first day itself. 1. The tire size is smaller than what I have ordered. 2. The back mudguard is having dent mark on it. Next day (Today), I have visited to thansen store at Provestensvej Helsingor, shown them bike and informed about these manufacturing defects. They have given me below two options which were not acceptable at all. 1. They offered me repair of existing bike with the appointment on 19 September(after 26 days from today), when their mechanic will be doing inspection and replacement of tires and back mudguard *if possible.(And even they mentioned that they don't know if mechanic can fix it on that day.) 2. They offered me full replacement of bike with assembly appointment possible on 19 September, they also didn't guarantee that it will come with right tire size again this time and I need to pay them extra charges for bike assembly(because I didn't assemble the defective bike from them) or else I can take it now and need to assemble it by myself. These options were very disappointing for me, as in either case, I am going to waste my 26 days from now or need to pay extra bike assembly charges again. I explained them repeatedly, that this is not a mistake from myside, rather I have received the bike having manufacturing defects and I am here to complain about that. I have never imagined to have such slow and irresponsible customer service. I also want to point out that, the guy at reception was very rude and unprofessional. He was not co-operating with me at all and talking in an angry manner which sounded me like he didn't care about customers. It was very bad and frustrating experience for me. After this experience, I wouldn't be hesitant to say that they lost one customer(me) for lifetime. Thanks.

You are angels! we had a big problem with our tire valve today. 15.00 Saturday afternoon. it is our first holiday in Denmark and we do not speak Danish. the guys in the shop helped us right away even though the workshop was no longer open. In perfect English, the mechanic searched for a suitable screw nut for a long time without complaint and helped us in 15 minutes!!!!!
