This place hold a special part in my heart for me from visiting when young. Swimming and (illegally) jumping from the lighthouse this is a quiet little port to stop by for a swim, an icecream or lunch/dinner at Svanshalls Kroger, the local restaurant.

Very nice harbour, small pitches next to the water. A little difficult to bathe, parking places for about 6 to 7 mobile homes, the toilet was quite dirty.

A very nice and pleasant experience to visit this small beautiful port. Here there is calm and peace, the children fish and crab with other children and the exceptionally nice residents here in Swanshall are happy to stop and exchange a few words with us visitors. This is in every way a lively harbor with fishing boats as well as beautiful leisure boats. Lives also make the association life, here there are at least three different associations that happily keep the community in the town alive with barbecues, get-togethers, etc. Notice the wheelhouse from the wrecked ship Ribersborg, which was salvaged and today stands as a museum open on Sundays, surrounded by a wall with cannons, mines and depth charges. In truth, a historical attraction beyond the ordinary. If you are nearby, I can warmly recommend a visit to Svanshall harbour, The harbor with that little extra and should you get hungry, don't miss Svanshall's pub, now under new management! (For Svanshalls Krog see separate review) (if you like the review, please give it a thumbs up 🙂)
