It is a round die from the Peasant Stone Age. It is believed to have been set approx. 3500 years BC. Dyssen's earthen mound is somewhat flattened, but the burial chamber is fairly intact and is surrounded by 16 preserved curbstones. The chamber consists of three large bearing stones. Crushed, burnt flint was found in the chamber. .... With approx. 40 Bowl signs... Bowl signs are flat depressions often 3-5 cm in diameter. They are believed to have been used in connection with fertility worship, and they are found on several of Denmark's largest stones and on cliff faces on Bornholm. ..... Bowl signs often appear together with other petroglyphs and are believed to date from the Neolithic and Bronze Ages.
