Oplevelser fra ture i kongeriget. (René Kirstein Sørensen)
We were received by a friendly museum hostess, who told us briefly about the gunpowder works and guided us to the start. An interesting experience to see Denmark's gunpowder manufacturing, which was a dangerous workplace, with many accidents over the years. Production stops in 1965.

Nice museum in the center of Frederiksværk.

Nice little museum with dedicated people. Exciting information. A little worn'.

Beautiful area and nice little museum where you can get a tour and historical insight. a trip around the rest of the area is recommended. Association life, the photography club, amateur theater thrive here, not to mention the recurring gunpowder markets, where showmen, political parties, the vintage car club, the moped club and the motorcycle club meet with the population for inspiration and joy.

Very historically informative about the gunpowder factory and Frederiksværk. Learned a lot of new Danish history. Very friendly staff. Less interesting for children.

A wonderful little museum gem that tells the story of the manufacture of gunpowder in Frederiksværk, in the authentic surroundings. Big praise to the guide Anna, who introduced the place to our 4-year-old grandson in a fine educational way.
