I write this in English so that people also interested in converting their non-EU licenses can understand. Applying to convert your drivers’ license to a danish “kørekort” can be an expensive and time consuming process depending on where you are from. In my case, being from South Africa I had to first apply to have my license validated- this takes the most time as the Danish Police awaits confirmation from the applicant’s country of origin (in my case it took 7 months). Then you may approach a danish school. I decided on Jan as his school was very well situated, advertised, presented and professional. From the beginning, at the introduction, I was very happy with his assistance and guidance. He assisted me to find and book an English theory test and gave me access to the necessary literature I needed to study. If you make use of all the resources you will have no problem in passing the test. He also has a YouTube channel which is very helpful and he is always available if you have a question. I found that the communication was very good. The website is also user friendly and you can book and schedule your lessons with the driver of your choice. I believe Jan has 11 drivers. I took a few driving lessons with Jan, and he knew what to focus on and how to assist me (as we drive on the other side of the road in SA). Driving with Jan was fun and relaxing. He focused on the driving however it felt like a fun road trip. He is good to make you relax and focus on the goal! He reinforces and strengthens a student by giving positive constructive feedback and he will be honest and to the point. I can and already have recommended Jan and his school to friends and their children. I could compare his school to others as my husband went through the same process with another school and by far I would choose Hillerød C again. You do not want to invest in the wrong school as it is very expensive in Denmark to get your license. Even though I can speak danish, everything was translated and done in English (just to be safe). I had a good practical and now have my danish license, thanks to Jan.

Jan not only helped me to pass the test, he actually built up my confidence from zero to (probably infinity :D) He is always ready to go the extra mile for the students. As a matter of fact, I'm going to miss driving with him. Highly Highly recommended!

I started my course on the turbo team, which still progressed incredibly quickly, even with corona. The driving instructors are very friendly and committed. I had Claus as a theory teacher, a fantastic person and teacher with a good sense of humour, who makes the otherwise somewhat hard theory incredibly interesting and fun to follow. In addition, I drove with the driving instructor Diana, who is a very goal-oriented and absolutely fantastic driving instructor who is very focused on the students passing and being prepared as best as possible for various tests. I passed both the theory test and the driving test in the first attempt. This driving school can easily be recommended! Huge praise for Hillerød C.

I am extremely happy and satisfied with my choice of driving school. They have a fantastic booking system, which meant that I myself decided when I had to drive and therefore did not have to miss school. I had Jan as a theory teacher, he is really skilled and friendly. I had Diana as my driving instructor and she is extremely skilled and helpful. She is a bit straightforward which helps with learning to drive and she is nice to talk to. I passed both of my tests the first time around and I got my tests pretty quickly despite the COVID-19. I recommend 100%

My friend and I chose to take a turbo course over the Christmas break so we wouldn't miss our classes at school. We got the driving instructor Baris, who managed to make the lessons interesting and the driving lessons very constructive and effective. Their system "Go 'n' Drive" also works really well, as you know (and can choose for yourself to some extent) when you have hours. Several of our other friends have been completely forgotten by their driving instructors at other driving schools, and the system really helps against this. I only have good things to say about the driving school and Baris as a driving instructor :)

WORLD CLASS DRIVING SCHOOL If you are completely inexperienced and would like to acquire a driving licence, I can strongly recommend Hillerød Driving School C. I chose the turbo team over the summer and was completely green when I started. My driving instructor Baris was super committed and professionally competent. He had a good handle on all the practical things and I only had to concentrate on the teaching. Both the theory and driving test were a breeze and 4 weeks later I was the happy owner of the card. Thank you for the good teaching, which helped to get me through in the first go. 5 STARS🙏🙌

When you are on your way out of a driving school and hear about other people's experiences, you often get stories about missing documentation or driving lessons, boring lessons, silly extra fees, etc. But at Hillerød C Driving School, they have prepared a cool digital platform that creates an overview for everyone involved. Quite straightforward and trust-building. I chose the turbo package over the traditional one and it is highly recommended. Despite a short course, you manage to build a cozy little community where everyone cheers each other on and is flexible if you need to exchange a driving lesson. My driving instructor was Baris, and he was very patient and understanding when you are nervous and have to try driving in a new place or, for example, with a new manoeuvre. You really get the feeling that he wants the best for you and believes in you. Having said that, he also tells you honestly what you need to practice more :)

Really good wheelchairs, super good theory and learn to drive. Good long and educational drives, first aid not too boring but made more exciting than expected. I personally had baris as a driving instructor, very nice and friendly.
