The food overall was not bad, everything was freshly prepared and lived up to expectations. We were eating many different dishes and it was pleasant experience. However the atmosphere was something else, firstly the restaurant is not very large which is understandable to its location. But the sound inside became a bit too much with many guests it was hard hearing what the staff said and those I dined with.

I really wanted to like the place, but it unfortunately didn’t live up to my expectations. Firstly, I made a reservation for my husbands birthday and requested for a table with a nice view. They sat us downstairs in the wine cellar, which we didn’t particularly mind, but you wouldn’t expect that after making a request specifically. Usually most restaurants also have a little flag and some decor for a birthday reservation, but they didn’t have that either. The antipasti was good, but the rest of the menu was quite unexpectedly bad. The ravioli especially tasted just as you would expect one of the store bought ones to taste. Overall, the food was just about decent but definitely not worth the steep prices. We ended up spending close to 2000kr (with the wine menu and everything) but didn’t feel great at the end of the night. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Food was overall decent, but I had higher expectations. Some dishes were simply not anything special, but still good, and the fish dish was extremely salty and a bit too overcooked. For the price they charge the quality should have been better, same as the service. It took a long time until orders were taken and in general the service felt a bit sloppy and ad-hoc (but they were always very nice and friendly). I will not be visiting again nor will I be recommending anyone to go, there are other restaurants that are cheaper and better in Copenhagen.

Freshly made italian food as their mothers made it. Intense flavours and fresh ingredients. Really liked their fresh pasta and intense tomato sauce. The chef showed me how he made the fresh pasta. It looks so easy to do, but I can tell you that it is harder than it looks. For desert I got chocolate ice cream, with a rich and creamy texture, and grated chocolate on top. While I opted for plain water, they do make a menu with a matching wine menu every single day. Would not hesitate to recommend Famo Metro, and will surely go again.

Fantastic food and lovely attentive service. The cook made us a special dish just because my husband didn't like one of the normal dishes. We will be back again.

We had dinner and the small menu. The antipasti and the dessert were delicious!! The pasta ragu was quite good, but I think I got full with the antipasti and didn't appreciate the main course as much.

Really good Italian traditional restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen. Staff is fantastic and gave us such a great experience. There are only 4 or 5 course dinner menus to choose from so come hungry. We also had the wine menu which was good but not necessary. Good atmosphere and great food but in the pricy end. We paid 4.200 for 4 persons with 2 wine menus and some starting drinks.
