Falck Ambulance

Saturday past midnight, we had an ambulance for my husband. Only 5 minutes passed before they arrived. They took him out in the ambulance, to be examined. Suddenly they drove off with him, without informing me (the wife). They did not drive with an emergency. My husband hadn't brought his phone with him, and asked the falck rescuer to let me know. They wouldn't. When I heard/saw them drive up the road to turn around, I went out to the road but they just drove past me. I was of course deeply frustrated. For what now??? We have had an ambulance called before, and here we had a very positive experience of falck rescuers.
