Cool spot by the harbor, lots of outdoor seating. Josefine was very helpful with a couple of lattes . The inside is very much a pub style. Very relaxed vibe here, great spot to enjoy your day. Tak for Hjelp. It's a basement location so there is some steep steps to get inside. But the outdoor seating is on the street.

Good 'regulars' bar down by the Copenhagen waterfront. Decent range of beers and a friendly server. Danish 5 pin billiard table. Open until 5am!

If you’re looking for the nicest bartenders in Copenhagen, this is the place. I left my backpack here after a night out, and when I called them to ask if it was there, they were so patient and kind. When I came back the next day to get it, a bartender I hadn’t met was working. And he was just as kind and friendly. You don’t get much of that in Copenhagen. Also. The location is absolutely amazing. Right on the water.

A very local pub, mostly frequented by veterans of the place. The tone and atmosphere is a tad brash and down to earth, and since you are allowed to smoke, the stench of cigarettes will stay with you long time after you leave the place again. You’ll find the typical selection of beer and shots in the bar.

One of the coolest and most cozy bars around Copenhagen where you really get that danish sensation of hygge! Great staff and reasonable prices. Love it.

When exploring I was always seek out a couple of local pubs. Cafe Malmo was just round the corner from the hotel we were at and was suggested by a Danish colleague. Old fashioned local bar, with a jukebox that hasn't been changed since about early 80's. The barman is a friendly character who smokes like a chimney. Try and have a game of Danish Billiards ( Do NOT call it Pool) I played against some of the locals in there and it was hard-I think they were a bit liberal with the rules though) Some people say Danish people are bit stand offish- I found everyone in the pub friendly and as soon they found out it was visting the the city were even more chatty. In short if you want to escape for the other tourist traps and fancy a beer that reasonably priced go to Cafe Malmo. Word of warning people do smoke a lot and it does fill up later in the evening. You can always sit outside and watch hapless tourists bounce on the trampolines on the canal front.
