Pros: The employees were fantastic and friendly, the breakfast is above average for a free hotel breakfast and the restaurant downstairs is wonderful. Cons: the “mattress” is a thin layer of cotton maybe? One pillow, and scratchy linens. Overall a wonderful place, but the bed and linens made it feel like army barracks. If the beds and linens were improved, it would easily be a 5 star review

Reasonable hotel with easy access to business locations north of Copenhagen (Route 16). Hillerød is a small town, though. The rooms are simple but clean; the staff is very nice and helpful!

Very nice lodging...sadly restaurant was closed due to staff on vacation. Rooms were nice but quite warm. They have a nice courtyard for gathering.

The only thing I didn't like is that they don't have darker curtains specially knowing that is a country with very long days. At 4 in the morning the sun is rising so you get awake. The rest was OK!

Very nice and cozy hotel. Clean, tidy and welcoming place. I would definitely recommend it if you are staying in Hillerod. Each room have mini fridge and iron (in addition to standard equipment such as TV or hair drier). Also there is kettle so you can make your own coffee/tea at any time. Bed is comfortable and you have sufficient place in room. What I would recommend to improve are two things (one easily solved and cheap, another is something for the management to think about): 1. some instant coffee in breakfast (you do have filtered coffee, but not all of your guests are fan of it and instant coffee doesn't cost much). hot water for the tea you already have :) 2. invest some money and get small gym with few equipment and weights. bike, treadmill and some weights should do for start (doesn't cost that much and keeps your guests in shape and happy)

Best hotel in Hillerød, but there’s not much competition ;) minimalistic rooms, but comfy enough. Good breakfast. Good restaurant.

We stayed here for 5 nights in a standard room. There are still problems with the heating like I read in other reviews (we did not have a hot weather week). We had to open the windows every night to get some cool air in the room other wise the room turned in to a sauna. Also the bed was on the small side. The breakfast is okay but nothing special only the first day we had croissants after that the replaced it with something cinnamon...but nobody took does. The staff is nice and happy to help.
