Repeating technical failure: The triobike boxter with brose engine is the best cargo bike with 3 wheels on the market if you want to carry 3 kids. Its light, easy to move and has a strong and smooth transmission. BUT we have repeating electric failures since the first day we bought the bike in May 2022. In repeating occations the engine stops working during cycling and the bike was 10 times at our dealer for repair. The failure came back all the time. We had a change of the engine, the battery and display. The failure of a stopping engine just came back after using it 3 months. The technique of brose and battery from BMZ is just not working and I can not recommend to buy the bike again. We are very disappointed and are left alone having a 8000 € bike which is not working.

Absolute great cargo bikes- fun to ride and fun for kids :-) But when it comes to maintenance and service you might be entering into a nightmare :-( Out Triobike Mono requires 2 new front wheels and we thought it should be easy task. But it takes days even to get just a price for those - and that not just for any bike serice around the corner instead of the key servicing partner of Triobike in the Copenhagen region - Ren Cykle. That cannot be! That such stuff is not on stock and it might take a few days to order, ok. But no price - seriously!? Even called a German partner of Triobike - Greenbike-Shop and they can even not order spare parts if the bike was not bought there. Does this mean it is better to buy a cargo bike of another manufacturer? As said, the bike itself is (was) cool, but currently cannot be used due to lack of spare parts :-(

I've had my Triobike Mono for around 6 six years now. For years I bicycled around 15 km per day a few times a week – with kids, bags etc. It worked wonderfully and still does! Because it is so light and manoeuvrable you can go really fast and easy and actually even overhaul a lot of traditional bikes. The best way to get around in Copenhagen! And the service at Triobike HQ has been excellent! I love Triobike!

Extremely good service. Welcoming, friendly and competent. And my bike - which I use a lot - in all kinds of weather, just work. I can highly recommend TrioBike if you require your bike to be the best quality.

My experience with TrioBike after 13 months. It drives like a Ferrari but just doesn’t work. Bought my TrioBike Boxter the 28/05/2019 Was promised it to being delivered the 29/05/2019 - it was not. Each day they prosponed it for delivery the coming day and it never did show up until 6 days later, having me wait on my property every day until delivery. At it’s arrival it was scratched on the ABS plastic box, two huge scratches in the front. It was wrapped in thick plastic so I do not believe that it was made at the transport but rather at the factory. It did’nt come with any instructions for the computer and I could’nt find any instructions on google, neither on Trio’s own website - I did find it to be there though (kind of hidden on the website) but only after a call too the shop in their opening hours, rather complicated… After complaining too them about the scratches in my new bike they were very understanding and offered a cover made with cottun to make up for the damage-bike that i recieved. It took about 2 months for TrioBike to deliver the cover and that was only because of me checking up on them every week, they came with all kind of excuses that I do not believe, always saying that someone were sick and it was delayed ;) The cover is NOT water proff as water comes through the zipper line that is designed in a rather studip way. The mounts fore the cover is put on the cabinet box on an angle randomly fore each mount with screws that rust. 04/07/2019 the tale light on the bike started to stop working and I got a new one at the shop in Copenhagen. 03/08/2019 the piece shaft holding my backwheel broke i two inside the wheel, I also went to the shop and they fixed it straight away. 20/11/2019 my engine starts to brake down and doesn’t show any pattern in it’s breakdowns. The motor won’t work but always starts after 5-10 minutes of riding. Quite annoying. I go to the Trio shop in Copenhagen with this problem and they try to fix it. This repeats itself 5 times and at last they give me a new computer/display wich I can’t take off (even though its made for it) as that is what destroys the connections we found out. 25/11/2019 my charger suddenly “explodes” whiles charging in my living room, an rather loud bang and smoke appears. I go to the shop and they provide me with a new one and a new battery. 8//04/2020 I open the cabinet for the engine to see that they pressured some of the cables at their last repair and the cobber treads is sticking out in every direction, I do put tape on and closes the cabinet again, goes to the shop and complains about the wire and my ongoing engine faults through a normal day of riding my beloved bike. The give me a new display (as mentioned before) and says that the wire probably doesn’t need fixing. 20/04/2020 I find a screw holding some stiffiners for the ABS plastic box at place, sticking out weirdly, after looking at it I see that the box is cracking. The crack is originathing from the screw going up for 20-25 mm. They advised me to fix it myself. 26/07/2020 I ride with my girlfriend in the box, I weigh in at 100 kg. And she is at around 60 kg. Suddenly something snaps within the engine and it immediately stops pulling in the carbon chain spinning the back wheel. If I pedal the engine spins fast but doesn’t pull and I guess something i broken apart in there. That was the point where I sad down and wrote down my experience with TrioBike.

I have rented a Triobike Taxi for 6 days to visit beautiful Copenhagen with my wife and my son at slow pace. Biggest cargo bike I had ever ridden (other experience with Bakfiest NL, Babboe, Bullitt). I have to testify that is it very easy and pleasant to ride. As for passengers, it is comfortable and the design of the box is really pretty! I could tell that Triobike has put a specific effort on this, finally bringing a sleek design for Taxi Tricyles (just google pedicab/velocab and you can see the ugliness currently on streets around the world). Thank you for our eyes, thank you for having designed this bike, it contributed a lot to my holidays and happiness. And for the fun Triobike also offers 2 wheels cargo bikes :) never tried but I see fun in curves :)

Best cargo bike shop. It's super colourful and their bikes are very easy to ride - you can try them! Also, people in the shop are very nice. Recommended!

Amazing service !!! Well built danish cargo bike. We have 2 at home. Our dog loves it
