Refrain from ordering goods from butcher P.E. Larsen. I had placed an order for a 2.5kg boneless rib roast for collection on the 22nd December and I placed this order 28 days before the date in question. Assured by the master butcher that it was a simple task. Upon my arrival on the agreed collection day, I was informed with the message that they could not find their order book and that it was not at all possible to get the desired rib roast of 2.5 kg, because now they claimed that they did not sell such large rib roasts at all . The clerk instead decided to improvise with 4 small different pieces of rib roast and 1 piece of sirloin tied together with string so that it came to look like a real piece of meat in their eyes, which you would otherwise think only Frankenstein could come up with. This was completely unsatisfactory and very disappointing. Which led to me refusing to accept it The whole episode was deeply disappointing, especially as I had ordered well in advance and now, on the 22nd of December, there was no possibility to order from another butcher who can supply the desired product. For that reason, I advise against ordering your goods from P.E. Larsen, as there is a high risk that the desired product will not be available for agreed collection.

I am a relatively new customer, but I can hear and see that this butcher knows his customers. Despite queuing to get in, the experience is personal. Friendly and service-oriented service, and you can get a little more than what is in the window. The price is acceptable. I have shopped there a few times, and come again when I need a little more than usual. I happily recommend this butcher.

I noticed one of the dishwasher boys behind called sigurd, he worked really well and efficiently compared to the others. I think he should have a salary increase of at least DKK 50-100. He really enhances the entire company's value and work ethic.

We got an unusually delicious roast pork from P.E Larsen. It was so fresh and lean with a rind. Uhmmm. We pick up roasts every year for Christmas. Can be highly recommended.
