Sadly, the focus of this school is not on children’s well-being and individuality. We had two children at the school and decided to take both of them out of the school. First and foremost due to a series of unacceptable, bullying behaviors by one of the two entry level teachers (i.e. 0. klasse), and the fact that the interim school principle was too weak to intervene in a classical power struggle between the two of them.

Stay away if your children have an international background! This school (my own old school) has wonderful premises for healthy child development and play. However, prejudices and ignorance prevail, if your family has an international and multicultural upbringing, which I sadly experienced with my own children here. International schools and multilingual children are frowned upon and openly criticized, as the staff currently are very nationalistic and only see disadvantages in this regard. If your child is not up to the expected academic level after a few weeks, be prepared that they might call you into a meeting and suggest you find another school for your child. Furthermore, if your child has any kind of developmental issues, such as dyslexia, hypersensitivity or anxiety, this will also be condemned and you will be held accountable. Currently the school has no leader, and rather uneducated and discourteous teachers have taken control over the school.

Bad management, pecking order among the teachers. Unrest and noise in the classes. Bullying is not taken care of. And it's a private school!!

I love going here, just miss a little excitement, like some fire drills, but otherwise a good place to go
