Friheden is a chili breakfast and brunch spot whisky stands out among the many other “Pick 5” brunches, without being completely unrecognisable - it won’t be a culinary exploration. I recommend the shakshouka, as the baked eggs are just a fancy name for an omelette. The pancake however was so delicious! Staff is very pleasant and friendly, joking and quickly reading the room and are not afraid of poking fun at the customers, which is something I appreciate when you can poke back at them as well.

We loved this place! It’s got such a chill vibe with its outdoor seating between the trees, skate park in between. Very relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for a warm sunny afternoon. The food was great - delicious pancakes, really good bread.

While strolling around the city, I passed by in this area. Not a very touristy place for a drink. You will enjoy the moment with the locals while drinking 🍺

Really nice place for breakfast or brunch. 3 servings of eggs, meat/fish and veggies. And their pancakes are excellent. Perfect morning bike ride along the path through Nørrebro.

Totally exceded our expectations! Outside more like a youngsters bar, inside friendly staff and interesting menu. The dishes were well thought out and well prepared. The langoustines were lovely. Nice rose wine. Just one remark for the row at the toilets: 2 toilets for bar and restaurant is not much.

We tried many of the dishes and unfortunately except for the broccoli it was very disappointing. The food had no taste… So called ceviche consisted mostly of turnips and a bit of fish, nothing else. Pavlova wasn’t anything like a pavlova. Service was also poor, we sat with finished dishes and dirty plates for over an hour without being able to order drinks and desserts. Atmosphere is nice. I’d come again for a beer.
