A very quaint little restaurant by the main lodge. The food options look to be danish in origin. The interior deco and the horse stables nearby gave this place a farm to table restaurant vibe. The steak I had was good, but it doesn't come close to some of the good stuff from the Midwest. The food presentation was nice. There was a choice of two beers, pale and dark. It looked like an upscaled and formal place that's accessible to everyone.

The food was 3 stars, but considering prices I give 2. I had a disappointing opportunity to try salmon as a side and beef dish as the main course. Both meals were absolutely average shop-level quality. It was not fundamentally bad, but it was so generic that even the canteen in my workplace does comparably. The rose wine, despite costing around 150kr/bottle, felt like that cheap oversweet carlo rossi from any supermarket for 40kr max. Even in Copenhagen you can get food that is tremendously better for the same price. For those 3 things I paid approximately 500kr. You really have to be a Dane to spend that much money on such simplistic dinner.

About three km from the Technical University of Denmark, located in a wonderful setting with a natural park and equestrian centre. Strategic position and pleasant view. As for the rest, the structure would need more comfort. Spartan rooms and shared services, rather old and not exactly at the top of hygiene (also due to the common users). Breakfast plentiful, but not of excellent quality. Much, much more could be done, given the cute and typical construction and the beauty of the places!

Very friendly service. The rooms are old, creaking floor and calcified bathroom. In my opinion no "hotel", but an "inn". Cannot recommend it for business trips.

Lunch buffet for many people but a good choice of Danish and vegetarian dishes

Very good basic food, generous servings for a hungry person. Fantastic surroundings next to the forest.

Great food, great service, great location, and a beautiful interior. You also get large portions, so you really get a great bang for your buck.
